The Taliban have reportedly killed 13 people to end music at a wedding party. Amrullah Saleh, the former vice president of Afghanistan, described the Taliban's atrocities on Twitter. Amarullah Saleh alleges the massacre happened in Nangrahar, an Afghan province adjacent to Kabul.

Amarullah described the massacre as a "condemnation of the Taliban regime" and called for a united front in the country.

Amarullah also blamed Pakistan for the killings. For the past 25 years, the Pakistani Taliban have been taught to destroy the culture and people of Afghanistan. This was in order to control our soil. Now it all comes to fruition. "This regime won't last but unfortuatnely until the moment of its demise the Afghans will continue paying a price again.", Amarullah Saleh explained on Twitter.

The Taliban took control of Afghanistan on August 15. Since then, there have been several reports of Taliban attacks on musicians and musicians. The Taliban closed the National Institute of Music in Afghanistan on September 4. Fawad Andarabi, a prominent Afghan folk musician, was shot dead by the Taliban two weeks ago.

A few days ago, the Taliban destroyed the entire equipment of a recording studio operating in Kabul.

In an interview with the New York Times, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that music was forbidden in Islam. The Taliban's response to the ban on music was that it would force people to follow it without pressure. Meanwhile, international media reported that the Taliban had arrested two people in connection with the massacre at the wedding venue on Friday. Two of the three attackers were reportedly arrested.
