SPAIN ends ITALY's 37-0 streak: Euro Champions Fall in the Nations League

In the UEFA Nations League semi-finals, Spain defeated Italy. Spain defeated Italy by a score of two goals to one, putting an end to Italy's undefeated streak. 
Spain Beats Italy at UEFA Nations League Semi-Final

Italy was undefeated in 37 games. Spain's Ferran Torres scored a brace, while Italy's Lorenzo Pellagrini scored a consolation goal. In the 42nd minute, Leonardo Bonucci was sent off with 2 yellow cards.

With ball possession, Spain dominated the game. In the 15th minute, Spain scored the game's opening goal as they proceeded to attack down Italy's left wing. With a header from the crossbar, Ferran Torres put Spain ahead. Bonucci was sent off in the 42nd minute after receiving a yellow card in the 30th minute. In injury time of the first half, Ferran Torres scored the game's second goal. The second goal was a header from the brilliant cross of Mikel Oyarzabal, just like the first goal.

Italy tried to score through counter-attacks in the second half, but scored in the 83rd minute through Pellagrini. But they could not score the equalizer. At 12.15 a.m. Indian time today, France will face Belgium in the second semi-final.

Italy defeated England to win the Euro Cup. In a dramatic final, Italy won the shootout. Italy's hero was goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who made a slew of spectacular saves. In a penalty shootout, Italy triumphed 3-2. The game proceeded to extra time and then to a penalty shootout after both sides scored one goal in regulation time.
