Barcelona suffered a devastating defeat to Benfica, whom they
had expected to take 3 points with a win by a comfortable margin. Barcelona
have been trying to get back on track after Messi's departure to PSG, and
yesterday night's match against Benfica provided them with an opportunity to do
so. Benfica, on the other hand, defeated Barcelona by a score of 3 to 0.
In another match, Chelsea was defeated by Juventus. Chiesa
scored the only goal of the game at 46’ and made it an easy win for his team.
The mighty Bayern Munich destroyed Dynamo Kyiv in 5-0 game. This match also saw the 33 year old Polish Front-man Robert Lewandowski becoming the first player in UEFA Champions League history to end on the winning side in 18 consecutive appearances. His wining reign includes victory against big names like PSG, Chelsea and Barcelona.
