France wins the Nations League: Benzema & Mbappe lead France to victory.

France has won the UEFA Nations League after defeating Spain. France defeated Spain by a score of two goals to one. All three goals came in the second half. Michael O'Reilly's goal in the 64th minute placed Spain ahead, but France quickly replied with Karim Benzema's goal in the 66th minute, and Kylian Mbappe scored the second goal in the 80th minute, leading France to victory. With this victory, France became the first team to win the FIFA World Cup, Euro Cup, and UEFA Nations League.

France defeated Belgium in the semi-finals in the same manner, scoring late in the second half while Belgium was ahead. France trailed 2–0 in the first half of the semi-finals and won by three goals in the second half, but this time they trailed 1–0 and won the trophy. Hugo Lloris' vital saves, as captain and goalkeeper, also contributed to France's triumph in the final.

The play was fairly dull for the first hour, but it heated up in the 64th minute with a goal scored by O'Reilly. In the same minute, France attempted to equalize with a powerful shot by Frenchman Theo Hernandez, but it missed the crossbar. Shortly after, captain Sergio Busquets delivered the ball, which he deflected into the back of the net. Only until the 66th minute the score remained 1-0.

Spain's lead was only two minutes long. Karim Benzema sent the ball into the net from two yards out of the box. Unai Simon, the Spanish goalkeeper, bounced off like a rainbow towards the ball, but to no effect. The ball moved slightly in his grasp and went into the goal. Now the result is a 1–1 tie.

Next up came Kylian Mbappe, whom fans worried whether he would be the match's villain after he wasted many great opportunities. Mbabane ran Theo Hernandez's through pass in the 80th minute, leaving goalkeeper Simon alone in front. Mbappe found the target with ease after deceiving the goalkeeper with one or two steps off the ball. The Spanish players tried to argue that Mbabane was offside, but they were unsuccessful. The score was 2–1 in favour of France.

France won the Nations League Cup with no further goals scored till the final whistle.

Italy defeated Belgium in the Losers final to go to the Champions League. Italy won by a two-goal margin. Italy's penalty shootout goals came from Nicolo Barella (46) and Domenico Berardi (65) respectively. In the 86th minute, Belgium's consolation goal was scored by Charles de Ketelaere.
